ultra vomit biography and discography

Devourment, nasum, dying fetus, arkangel, bruiser punch, gronibard, anal cunt ... (for now) ...

... but for the early demos, there was no real brutal influences as we didn't know more than 2 brutal bands lol ...

At first, Brian and NiCo began to write gory and trippy lyrics for fun in classroom and used to sing a lot in the streets of Nantes, practicing our death voices on old women ...

Then one day, we went to listen to napalm death's "scum". it was a revelation. It made us laugh to death!!!!

Brian, who is basically a pop fan, found out he was able to sing with an extremely deep and raw voice. Then he began to mix up accoustic and death shit together, and it gave ULTRA VOMIT. He had never listened to death metal , so he completely reinvented his own kind of death, which was damn fun!!

The first demo tape Brian recorded alone with his accoustic guitar and his porky voice entitled "urine/shit demo" .

It consisted in short songs with weird and not technical accoustic riffs, total big voice (no fx) and gore lyrics. ( + 3 gore pop songs)

Soon after that, in March,1999, NiCo decided to reply to brian and created his own accoustic/death project called CUNTBLEED. He recorded a demo tape in his bedroom : "satanus 1999" , which was mainly influenced by ultra vomit for the guitar riffs, but with a personal touch, especially for the voices. :)

All music written by NiCo, except "fuck the police" by Violent Death (NiCo & Florian, which i salute). All lyrics written by NiCo except "roots of pain" by NiCo & Brian (en cours de bio!) "rapacious cunt" and "paradise on earth" by Brian, "abortion" by Carine. "Paradise on earth" has been censored by us.

One month later, Brian & NiCo went at "the trempolino" , rehearsal local, to record plenty of their songs and gather them under the name of ULTRA VOMIT. The songs were turned into electric shit, with drums added. It was the first time they were played that way, and Nico had to do the drums on the spot.

We had to record it in limited time, ( we failed, so we finished the session at home accoustically ) and with mediocre means...but it was funny as hell!! And besides, we finally got an official band, as we had put our songs together. This period has been a bend in our career (hehe)

During the next summer, we bought a 4-tracks recorder and we started to record on our own. We recorded around 40 songs, but we finally kept 24 songs (17 old songs and 7 new ones) to put in our first self-made CD-R demo "ultra vomit". Zombui has been a great mental support during this period !! (She forced me to write it!! j/k)

The demo is no longer available at bones brigade, because we think it sux too much and is not representative of what we're doing now ... wait for the new demo, or just write us to order the previous ones.

Then Stickskiller (Manu) came up, found by Zombui on the net. We thought he would hate the band because we sucked so much... but surprisingly, he didn't hate that much, he found it cool and it was fun for him to play in a band like ultra vomit : we had luck, because we thought it was impossible for a band like us to found a good drummer...

First we started to rehearse 6 month ago at the trempolino, we had sound problems and it was kinda difficult, but now it's cool, and Sticks has really improved (especially for blast beats!!!). So maybe soon we'll be able to play live ... but we miss a bassist...actually, brian is maybe coming back to do it (at the moment only sticks and Nico play, but it's getting better)

Last month we have recorded some shit with the 4 track without caring much about the sound...

...And one day we'll try to record a good stuff. (the songs must mature first i guess)
